I need to log onto my profilux and take a dump of the temps for the last month to really see how bad the swings have been. Need to get my monies worth out of all that tech.
don't waste your money with the herbtana bud, if the fish are eating, rather add seachem metrodiozinole to their food,

    any rats caught yet?

Will metrodiozinole work with WS? That stuff is the best but I only thought it worked with internal parasites.

    And now, there are four...

Added another Orphek DIF100XP pendant to help balance out the coverage in this tank...too much SPS in there .

This one has really coloured up nicely, doing better than under the 400w BLV halide I had on, during last years winter.

Very awesome. Colours look really insane under the LEDs.

By the way, don't put that Herbtana into your tank! Not only does it not work, but a lot of people have had corals die/bleach right after adding it. Snake oil...

Bollocks...sorry to hear dude. PBs are awesome but just sooooo disease prone. Keeping them is really stressful.

Yeah....had this one for about 4 years...will never buy another one again...just grates me being not responsible enough for giving enough TLC, that has now led to the death of creature that would be better off swimming in the sea.

Sorry to hear Adee. 4 years is a long time for a PB.

How about a relay connected to battery powered buzzer so that when the power goes off the buzzer goes on.
To reef or not to reef? That is not even a question!

Got home today to find my copperband of 4 years...stuck nose first into the inlet grill of the Seio. The suction there was too strong to release him...really miffed about this...much more than loosing my PB last week to white spot. Oh well, have to move on now.

Oh, installed now 6 heaters in various sections of the system setup....also mounted an out door "red" heater on the fish tank side of the room. 1300w that burns for 9 hours a day...Electrical bill is gonna murder me!
One huge advantage my old 1500w MH unit had was that it gave off alot of heat that heated up the room and the tank at the same time.
